Resilient Breathing for Calming the Fearful Mind
Our Nervous System can get turned on in times of stress and stay in a state of prolonged activation. We may feel anxious, tense, unable to sleep and our digestion may be thrown off.
Our fight or flight system isn’t designed for prolonged periods of stress. This may result in high cortisol levels, which leads to high blood pressure, inflammation and a lowering of our Immune system’s response.
Please try this lesson (adapted from Feldenkrais Treasury) as a way to help your Nervous System to return to baseline.

I was in a car accident over 40 years ago. What I learned out of that accident is how to connect to myself and how to make connections with others. That connection is the preeminent work in healing, no matter what technique you use, the important thing is that you are really in contact with the person you are working with. Everything that I have leaned over the years that has helped me, I have ...

    Some videos make it at least believable, like that lady to uses the activator multiple times and then says it’s a bit better. But to just use the activator a single click on a single place and then go “now the legs are even” in just a second, now that’s just hilarious

    I like your video...but I'm always icked out by the fact that chiropractors touch people's shoes and then touch their head, neck, face, etc. It's quite disgusting.

    Why don’t they ever do the camera from above the feet looking down so that the viewer can see the leg length changes....🤔🤔🤔🤔 Havent found one of them. Then when you add the fact that the pretty much adjust the same spots it does come across a little iffy.

    thxxx for your time and effort to care :) I know just bending certain ways on my own can relieve pain, so of course your adjustments can bring relief! But should we be sure to always suggest the PT exercises that help keep the adjustments in place? It may help those folks with confusion/concerns about integrity of this profession to realize that Chiro is not a cure, but a quick step in a multi-discipline process towards healing...?

  • @ParallelMango

    So you bent the legs 90 degrees and you could tell hip misalignment.. really... Nononono

    • @blindabinda1234
      @blindabinda1234 5 років тому

      ParallelMango yes obviously. Go watch Nelson vetanze. This guy doesn't give chiropractors a good name. Bending the legs gives you a measurement from the knees to the heel. If the feet are even bent and not even straight then that means one of the hips is out of alignment

      Because having multiple ways to adjust the same joint suggests it’s pseudoscience? Thought you had something there didn’t ya? Just means you have more options and ways to help patients in a way that’s comfortable for them. Just more tools in the toolbox

      +You have 2 cents, Chuck Norris has 1 cent. Chuck Norris has more money than you - if you are talking about affecting organs then no chiro should be saying that and yes they should be penalised. there is no good "current evidence" to suggest chiros cause stroke. more like they were already having a stroke in progress... but the fact the chiro adjusted the neck without consent is negligent unlawful. manipulation causes descending inhibition (analgesic effect), stimulates the prefrontal cortex and for the subgroup that it works for increases muscle spindle activity in the surrounding musculature.

      You have 2 cents, Chuck Norris has 1 cent. Chuck Norris has more money than you you are a fool and clearly know nothing about anatomy and how the body works. The nerves control every organ or moving part in our body. If a nerve is pinched it's clearly going to cause problems. I hope one day you have sciatica nerves problems like I did and went to many of what you call doctors which couldn't do shit but hand med after med. And insurance wouldn't let me see a chiropractor. I spent My own money after months of agony and in the matter of one simple slap on my ass that chiropractor fixed my problem. I was walking with two hands on a cane and crying when I went in there and walking out on my own. And I was 28 at the time.
